Terms of Service (Last revised March 25th, 2009)
Due to increased requests for IRC security and the new implementation of our IRCd services, we have updated the terms of use. If an IRC server fails to meet our requirements listed below, it will automatically be denied free security. If a server we currently secure does not meet our requirements, we will drop free IRC security. It is your responsibility to check this page frequently for changes.
To qualify for FREE Secure-IRC services, your server and users must:
- Be professionally hosted or hosted on a dedicated server. (It cannot be hosted on a home connection.)
- Contain a legitimate user base. (spamming to get users is not tolerated)
- Not contain illegal activity of any sort.
- Not disconnect or harass Secure-IRC staff members or bots.
- Not willingly keep users that flood, harass, or threaten users. (We scan actively for abusive users via our extensive blacklist.)
- Not contain pornographic content on your website.
Secure-IRC has the right to terminate service for any reason.
